Free Poetry Response!
Up here in NY, we are STILL teaching! Only 8 more wake ups to go. This is the time of year when I am very jealous of the teachers down south. I keep teaching until the very last day and notice that there are less behavior issues if we carry on as usual. To keep my kids focused I created a differentiated poetry response. The kids get to read poetry (which they love) and then write about what they have read.
